Driver Terms: Summary

This page is a plain-language summary for MnBaladna delivery drivers. It is not the full agreement. The legally binding terms are our Terms and Conditions and, if you have one, your individual agreement with MnBaladna. If this summary differs from those, they apply.

1. What drivers do

MnBaladna drivers pick up orders from local stores and restaurants (Grocery, Food, Shop and Pharmacy) and deliver them to customers in the Netherlands, using the MnBaladna Delivery: Earn Daily app.

2. Ways to work

  • Freelance: you work independently and choose your own hours.
  • Salaried: you work with a fixed arrangement agreed with MnBaladna.

If you deliver only for one store, that store adds you in its vendor panel and gives you your login details.

3. Requirements

  • A bicycle, e-bike, motor or car, in safe working order.
  • A valid driving licence if you deliver by motor or car.
  • A valid identity document (passport, driving licence or national ID card).
  • The right to work in the Netherlands.
  • An Android smartphone with mobile internet, and location and notifications allowed in the app.

4. Delivering orders

  • Go online in the app to receive order requests. You can carry up to 3 orders at the same time.
  • At the store, check that the order is complete before you mark it as picked up.
  • Keep food and products clean, safe and at the right temperature (use a delivery bag, and keep hot and cold items separate).
  • Hand the order to the customer and ask for their delivery code (verification code). Enter it in the app to complete the delivery.
  • If you cannot reach the customer or cannot finish an order, follow the steps in the app and contact support.

5. Cash on delivery

  • Customers can pay by cash on delivery, online payment or wallet. For cash orders, collect the amount shown in the app.
  • Cash you collect belongs to MnBaladna and the store until you pay it in. It is shown in the app as cash in hand.
  • The cash-in-hand limit is €200. When you reach it, pay in the cash using the method shown in the app before you can take new cash orders.

6. Earnings and tips

  • Your earnings are shown in the app. Freelancers earn per completed delivery; salaried drivers are paid according to their agreement.
  • Customers can add a tip in the app. Tips appear in your earnings.
  • How and when your earnings are paid out depends on your arrangement with MnBaladna. Ask driver support for the details that apply to you.

7. Conduct

  • Be polite and respectful to customers, store staff and other drivers.
  • Follow Dutch traffic rules at all times. Safety comes first.
  • Do not open, change or use items from an order.
  • Use customer details only to complete the delivery. Our Privacy Policy applies.
  • Do not let anyone else use your account.

MnBaladna may suspend or end access for drivers who break these rules or the Terms and Conditions.
