Our deliveryman app provides a streamlined workflow that allows drivers to manage their workload effectively. One of the core features is the ability to accept or decline incoming orders directly from your mobile device. This guide explains how this feature works and how to use it to optimize your delivery schedule.

How to Manage Incoming Orders

When a new order is assigned to you, you will receive an instant push notification on the app. You can tap the notification to view the order details, including the pickup location, drop-off address, and estimated earnings. From this screen, you have two primary options:

  • Accept Order: Tap this button if you are available and have the capacity to fulfill the delivery. Once accepted, the customer and the merchant are notified, and the navigation to the pickup point begins.
  • Decline Order: If you are currently busy, out of range, or your vehicle capacity is full, you can decline the order. The order will then be reassigned to another available delivery driver.

Benefits of Order Control

Empowering deliverymen to accept or decline orders based on their real-time situation offers several advantages:

  • Enhanced Availability Management: You can decide when to work and when to take a break, ensuring you only take on orders you can handle efficiently.
  • Optimized Capacity Planning: By knowing your current load, you can prevent overloading your vehicle and ensure each package is delivered safely and on time.
  • Improved Efficiency: Drivers can assess the route feasibility before committing, leading to faster delivery times and higher customer satisfaction.

Tips for Efficient Order Management

To make the most of this feature, ensure your app notifications are enabled so you never miss an order request. Regularly check your vehicle capacity and current location before accepting to ensure smooth operations. If you must decline an order frequently due to location, consider moving to a zone with higher demand.
